The Sponsored Gallery

Put a sponsor inside the one thing every attendee opens - their own photos.

The Sponsored Gallery in use at a Premagic event

What it is

Sponsor inventory is mostly guesswork. A logo on a banner, a slide before a keynote, a tote bag - none of it is measurable, and everybody involved quietly knows it.

The attendee photo gallery is different. It is the highest-intent surface at your event: people open it repeatedly, look at it carefully, and come back for days afterwards. A sponsor placed there gets attention you can actually count.

Timing: Live from the first photo drop, running for weeks afterwards.

Why it works

  • Attention is genuine - nobody skims their own photos.
  • It is measurable: impressions, clicks, dwell time, per sponsor.
  • The gallery keeps earning after the event, so the placement outlives the venue.
  • It creates a new, high-value inventory tier you can price properly.

This was the most visible branding we've done at any MEES edition. It wasn't just logo placement - it was interaction, it was measurable, and it kept working even after the event ended.

How to run it

  1. 1

    Define the placements

Gallery header, an interstitial between photo sets, the download frame, the delivery message itself. Price them separately.

  2. 2

    Keep it tasteful

The gallery works because it is personal. An aggressive takeover breaks the thing that makes it valuable.

  3. 3

Sell it as a measured tier

Lead with the numbers - impressions and clicks - because that is what no other inventory can offer.

  4. 4

Give the sponsor a live dashboard

Let them watch it during the event. It is the strongest renewal argument you will ever hand them.

  5. 5

    Report within a week

Impressions, clicks, unique attendees reached, benchmarked against their other placements.

Set it up in Premagic

The steps above are the campaign. These are the clicks.

  1. 1

Package the gallery as a sponsorship

Put it in the deck as its own category rather than another logo slot - personalised galleries, branded photos, sponsor content and reporting as one product. Informa Connect launched it at MEES as a brand new category.

  2. 2

    Brand the attendee gallery

Give the sponsor visibility across the gallery, including the personalised page each attendee lands on. Attendees come back repeatedly, so it is repeated exposure rather than one impression.

  3. 3

    Watermark the photos

Add the sponsor's logo to delivered photos. When the attendee posts one to LinkedIn, the sponsor travels with it.

  4. 4

Add sponsor content and a call to action

A short video inside the gallery with clickable links turns a passive placement into an interactive touchpoint.

  5. 5

    Deliver photos automatically

The easier it is for someone to find their own photos, the more they view, download and share - and each of those is another sponsor impression.

  6. 6

    Report on it

Gallery views, downloads, shares, sponsor content impressions and clicks. Real numbers instead of a post-event estimate, which is what makes the renewal conversation easy.

Best fit for

  • Creating a new premium sponsorship category
  • Giving sponsors visibility across thousands of attendee interactions
  • Extending sponsor reach through photos attendees share themselves
  • Adding sponsor video, links and calls to action to the gallery
  • Giving sponsors real numbers on views, clicks, downloads and shares
  • Earning extra sponsorship revenue from an experience you already provide

What you need

  • A photo gallery attendees actually open
  • Placement slots and creative specs
  • Interaction tracking per sponsor

What to measure

  • Impressions and clicks per placement
  • Unique attendees reached
  • Revenue per gallery placement
  • Renewal rate of gallery sponsors
