Campaign idea
The Speaker's Company Post
Their employer posts "our {name} is speaking". You get the speaker's personal reach plus the whole company's.
What it is
A speaker speaking at your conference is good news for their employer too. It is proof the company has experts worth listening to, and marketing teams are usually happy to post it - they just never get a usable asset.
So you send one. A co-branded creative with both logos and a caption their social team can post without a single edit. Then their colleagues reshare it, because people reshare their own company's posts about their own colleagues.
- When to run it
- Before the event

- Effort
- Medium effort
Timing: Two weeks after the speaker announcement, once they have posted.
Why it works
- One speaker turns into two channels: their personal profile and their company page.
- Company pages often have far more followers than the individual does.
- Colleague resharing multiplies it again, and those reshares reach a whole department at once.
- The company gets employer-brand value, so it is a genuine trade rather than a favour.
How to run it
- 1
Ask for the marketing contact at confirmation
Add one field to your speaker form: who at your company handles social? You will get it 80% of the time.
- 2
Build a co-branded creative
Both logos, the speaker's photo, the session title, the date. Make it obvious it is safe to post as-is.
- 3
Send a ready-to-paste caption
Written in the third person, so it reads naturally from a company account.
- 4
Give the speaker a version for their colleagues
A separate one-tap link the speaker can forward internally: 'my company is going, here's the post'.
- 5
Track it separately
Company-page referrals behave differently from personal ones. Keep the links distinct so you can see which is worth the extra work.
What you need
- Speaker's employer logo and social handle
- A marketing contact at each speaker's company
- Co-branded template with a logo slot
What to measure
- Company pages that posted, as a share of speakers
- Colleague reshares per company post
- Registrations from company-page links
